Gotta hand it to you though, you do get it. The Abrahamic religions have been the source of almost every evil inflicted upon humanity in the last 1000 years. But now we have a new evil rearing it’s ugly head, and that is the monetary system. For many, money is the new religion.
I didn’t take it that way. I read your profile description beforehand and knew that you had some pretty strong convictions. I agree, many Jews equate criticism of Israel with anti-Judaism, when that is not the case at all. I do think that Israel has a right to exist. But since their American big brother/bitch acts similarly, they feel they are free to do as they please. The Palestinians’ support for Hamas doesn’t really give me any good reason to sympathize with them though.
I don’t mean to come across as a troll or mischief maker but I did get the gist of what you were saying. I just felt compelled to push the topic in that direction.
I think one of the nastiest toxins to such a discussion has been the tried-and-tested strategy of the religious conflating ideology and race into the same terms so as to easily disarm critics. And I don’t say that with some anti-Judaism bias, because you see the Islamists adopt the same strategy with the term ‘Islamophobia’.
Yeah, I was talking about Stewart not following kosher dietary laws, not about Israeli aggression. And some Hasidic and Orthodox sects are among the most vocal critics of Israel.
No, I don’t ACTUALLY think that they dislike each other. But those little shakes of the head, the little “oh my gods,” something makes me think… Carrell and Colbert are two different people.
xD omfg they’re so cute together
“I got your microphone~”
“oh no!”
does Steve Carrel look like he wants to fight someone in this?
Got your microphone!
Oh no!

The thing that terrifies me is that it’s often the practicing Jews that do whatever the hell they like.

Roll on the motherfucking ground laughing my goddamn ass off.
Stephen & Steve. Oh jeezee.

they’ve stated in interviews they’re like best friends so no I dont think so
Jon is a non-practicing Jew, therefore he can do whatever he likes.
She put Stephen and Steven on the Daily Show. She can laugh however she likes.
Anyone else pick up an undercurrent of hostility between the Stevens, throughout all of these videos?
Where?
Jon isn’t religious and doesn’t really practice. He said it when I went to the show. So where are you getting that from..?
