Carl Sagan’s Pale Blue Dot: A Greener, Less Anthropocentric Envisioning

A less species-specific envisioning of Dr.Sagan’s stirring passage from his book “The Pale Blue Dot”. Please Digg, StumbleUpon, etc. This version was created by Joshua Sellers, AKA jokerkiwi www.youtube.com for showing at the Utica-Rome Green Expo in Clinton NY. It also won raves at the Albany Veg Expo Speakers’ Dinner that same weekend. This is considered the semi-official PBD for the Sagan Appreciation Society. Absolutely amazing, completely utterly amazing. I wish I knew about Carl Sagan before he passed away. This is the voice of a man who could have changed the world into a vision beyond that of corrupt politicians, money grabbers, people who in general, take the world for granted. Great men like these should not pass away forgotten. What an excellent reading, something that could bring a tear to that of a person without fluid. Astounding.

    @NARproductions

    It’s not about giving things a chance. It’s about giving evidence for ones claims. That is all the chance you’ll need.

    I dont believe in most of what Sagan says (His views on religion) But this video shows how insignificant we are in such a vast universe, in which we currently know no end. The human mind cant really comprehend these thoughts, when you try to think of them your mind just whirls. But, this video also proves that the chance our planet is the only to sustain sentient life is almost 0. He is a brilliant man, I just wish he gave certain things more of a chance.

    More Climate News…

    Science is G0d!

    Climatism-AGW as a Religion

    Climatism is the belief in anthropogenic global warming (AGW) and its doomsday effects, without resort to rational thought or full examination of the scientific evidence. This is part of a recent trend in eco-religion in Western society, where science is ignored but scientific words are used as cover as part of the belief system

    Most people cast shadows.
    Carl Sagan casts light.

    If we ignore what Dr. Sagan taught us we are doomed. If we accept his teachings we will be unstoppable.

  25. migduh says:

    The lift in spirit that I get from listening to my hero Mr. Sagan, do religious people experience a similar phenomenon when praying or attending church? I think that could be an interesting study.
